For this assignment, we had to create four images out of text: a representational image, a nonrepresentational image, an expressive image, and a six word autobiography.

So today I went into the city with my friend Mariam. We spent probably a good two hours in Blick, which is way too long- my back was starting to hurt from carrying everything. They did have free soft pretzels, though. So that was good. After Blick, we started wandering around. We also went to Utrecht since Mariam was looking for particular paints that were impossible to find because everywhere was sold out of them! But so, we went to Utrecht and she found at least one of the ones she was looking for. The guy helping us was not in too good of a mood, so we were happy to get out of there. Mariam had to pee, so she called up her old friend Kitt who goes to the Art Institute, and we went to his dorm across the street from Borders. I thought Temple's security could not take any longer sometimes to just get into the building. I was proven very wrong. We stood around the lobby for maybe a good 10 minutes while the security guards had to enter our names and information or something I don't even know into their system. We also had to get our picture taken, which I thought was weird. Anyway, after that we went upstairs and Mariam did her business. I sat down on Kitt's couch. He was in the middle of watching X-Men and eating breakfast at 2:30 in the afternoon. I'm always awkward, but we talked and Mariam came back and we sat there for a little since it was nice to be warm. IT WAS SO COLD OUTSIDE. We did have to venture back out into the arctic, though, I had to finish taking pictures. Kitt decided to join us. By that time, it was 3 o'clock and the sun was starting to fade, so instead of walking to Market East/China Town (I had wanted to go to the Troc but we decided the box office would be closed anyway on a Sunday)/South Street we just walked around center city. We went to Love Park and City Hall and I took some pictures. We slid around on the ice for a little and then my camera died and it was way too cold to still be outside. We took the subway back and then got some foood and now I want to collapse on my bed and go to sleep.
